What are "Connections" used for? |

Connections are Flash Media Server client connections and are what determines the number of simultaneous users that are able to utilize your Flash application at any one given time. 4 Connections = 4 Simultaneous Users Max. |

What is Streaming Bandwidth? |
| |
Your Streaming Bandwidth is the rate at which data is passed from the client to the server and the server to the client. Smooth video and clear sound, as well as delay time are all factors determined by your Streaming Bandwidth. Higher number = better stream.
General bandwidth scale:
56k modem = 33 kilobits per second up / 33 kbps down
DSL = 128 kbps up / 256 kbps down
T1 = 1.5 megabits per second up / 1.5 Mbps down |

Why do i need Disk Space? |

he Flash Media Server gives you the ability to store objects on the server, such as chat history, recorded audio streams, and recorded video streams. The size of these files vary depending on the length and encoding rate of the recorded stream. If your applications will be used for streaming large video files or will permit heavy recording then you may want a plan that provides more disk space. |

What is Datatransfer for? |
| |
When data is transferred from your Flash applications to the client, such as streaming video and audio, the amount of bandwidth used by your account increases. Bandwidth Allowance is the amount of data transfer packaged into your account, going over this amount costs $4-$5 per Gigabyte depending on your service plan. |
